I really liked that the trial version showed the report on what was in the corrupted zip and what was able to be restored, before purchase. This was the impetus that prompted me to purchase it as I was assured that all of my data was able to be retrieved once I activated it. What could be clearer is the key delivery. It took a few hours to receive the instructions. At first I wasn\'t sure if I was getting a physical box shipped, or key delivery via email. Perhaps I missed the instructions, regardless, a simple and obvious 1, 2, 3 ...

Didn\'t help me:Zip repair ran and created recoverd zip file.By opening recovered zip file, I get a erro message as invalid format or file corrupt which is same message seen before repair also.
Opinion I spent like two hours installing this thing and letting it do its thing only to find out that it was going to make me pay about $40 bucks to repair the problems, which I thought was cheesy because the add clearly said free download to scan and repair problems. Oh well, I should have known Ain\'t nuthin in this world for free.

The software is good......It helped me to regain my data from zip folder; but was only partially sucessful. It was able to extract about 1/3 of the total data.It is always better to have something rather then nothing

Zip Repair Pro Well, let me start out by saying that I have been using Zip Repair Pro for a couple of months and found it to work wonderfully. Unfortunately I went to use it yesterday and got an error code that said the program would not work. So I removed the program and came back online to download it again...and couldnt. I dont know what is wrong.
Comments after one use The interface is good and the application is easy to use. The free version scanned a 4.9Gb corrupted .Zip file and indicated all was recoverable in a 10 minute time span. The full version started the repair process and after 24 hours it had only completed 1.6Gb. During the time it ran, it used most of the CPU time, making it difficult to use the computer for other purposes.
Unable to use I am unable to use ZRP with VirtualPC and WinXP so I am unable to give a review.

Somewhat helpful but not super great It was somewhat helpful but not completely so. It appeared to repair my files but then wouldn't let me open them. I had to use a different program to extract them.

DelinvFile 4.01 is garbage. It doesn't work.
It was good but my purpose was different :)
The tools is the best I need for.
I treid using alot of these kind of program to delete the undeleteable file, and as i was expected this program didnt work either. Nor the rename proccess either, when I tried to delete or rename the ''undeletable'' file, it just lags the program and then freezes my whole pc.
Program Worked This program deleded two files that had become locked on my PC with no problems.
Not the answer for me I was desperately trying to remove corrupted folders in XP without 48 hours running chkdsk/f. But the product downloaded fine and looked good, but didn't work for me.

Someone recently deleted a lot of files by accident - the same day they were created so they had to be recovered from the trash. I used 2 different programs to do that - GetDataBack and Ontrack. All files were corrupt - Excel Recovery Tool 2.0 was only able to recover 1 out of 75 files - very disappointing.
sadly, it does nothing for corrupted formatting so I ended up saving the file as comma delimited text then creating an entirely new spreadsheet from it to reduce the file size from 15263kb to 57kb

Really repair BKF files? The scan through the corrupted BKF files seems to work ok (demo) and is useful and fast.But what i was missing is a real repair functionality for these BKF files. I have a W2K3 server where i backup to disk, then copy these BKF files to another computer to write it to tape. To be shure that the BKF files are ok and to have access to the contents, i catalog it on the other computer. This worked for sometime, but for unknown reasons does not work anymore. So, is there a way to correct these BKF files ...
